Sweet Sounds of Music in March

March is swaying to a mastery of music of all genres. The BC is showcasing some of the most unique and diverse sounds of spring. From classic masterpieces to Celtic Welsh sounds, you’re guaranteed to find a performance that will have you fully enamored in the sounds of spring.

For a twist on Irish music, check out the One Stage Series: Screaming Orphans at the Fairfield Community Arts Center. This band of four comedic and quirky Irish sisters presents a performance based in the diverse musical influences of Simon & Garfunkel, REM, and traditional Irish tunes.

The Classical masterpieces of Mozart, Beethoven, and Haydn will be showcased at It’s A Classic presented by the Middletown Symphony Orchestra. Conducted by the renowned Carmon DeLeone and featuring piano soloist Michael Chertock, this inspiring and romantic performance of moving classical score is guaranteed to be a perfect date night outing.

Dance the Night Away, the third annual fundraiser to benefit the West Chester Symphony Orchestra, includes cocktails, hor d’oeuvres, live music, dinner, dessert, a silent auction, and an evening of dancing. Local business and community leaders will be competing in a spirited dance competition similar to that of reality TV’s Dancing With The Stars.

Musical performance is abounding in March. The BC is hosting some of the most magical musical performances of the year and we hope that you get to enjoy some of the sounds of spring this month.
