September E-News, Chilling Out in The BC

September is the perfect month to enjoy outdoor activities with friends and family; there’s a hint of heat in the air, but you can feel fall coming on. In Butler County, we are definitely taking advantage of the great weather with our events.

Head out to Hamilton for The Great Miami River Days along the banks of the Great Miami River on September 10-11. Great Miami River Days is one of the largest water events in the country! This event features tunnel boat races, more than 20 educational booths, food, crafters, historical re-enactors, rides, a jet ski and ski show, wake boarders, rowing, music, fireworks, and more!

The Germans are known for their love of adult beverages and the German Village Historic District in Hamilton is no different! The German Village Pub Crawl on September 24 will feature drink specials and a roaring good time at all of the uptown pubs and bars in Hamilton.

Pack a snack in a picnic basket and enjoy a performance by the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company in West Chester. William Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar” will be performed at Keehner Park on September 25. This event is free and open to the public.
