Easter is just around the corner and there are several events happening throughout Butler County to celebrate this holiday! 
Bring your friends and family out to Lunch with the Easter Bunny in Hamilton on March 20 at the Michael J. Colligan Lodge. Guests will have lunch, make crafts, visit with the Easter Bunny, enjoy holiday entertainment by Mike Hemmelgarn, and receive a picture of the Easter Bunny with your child.
The 6th Annual City Wide Easter Egg Hunt in Hamilton is March 27 in Joyce Park! Children will be split into four age groups to collect over 5,000 eggs, win special prizes, and visit with the Easter Bunny! 
Families will also love the Middfest Pancake Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at O’Charley’s in Middletown on March 27! Breakfast and fun games with the Easter Bunny all serve as a fundraiser for Middfest International.
It’s great to indulge your Irish appetite and all other things decadent this month, but there are some activities to keep you on your feet! With spring upon us, Butler County communities are gearing up with outdoor exercise and activity. These 5K/10K races will keep you moving!
The 4th Annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K & 10K in West Chester on March 13 is not only a race, but an Irish celebration! This event features the race, a “Kegs and Eggs” breakfast at the Dingle House Irish Pub & Grub, and a festive block party. Last year’s event hosted about 1,000 participants. All proceeds will benefit The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty and the Union Centre Boulevard Merchant Association.
Get out and stretch your Irish legs at Middletown’s St. Patrick’s 5K Run/Walk on March 20! The race will start at the Middletown High School, loop through the city, and end back at the High School. Stay in shape and run alongside nearly 200 runners and walkers at this event.
What first comes to your mind when you hear a fiddle strumming fast-paced tunes and drums beating steady rhythms? If you are in any kind of Irish spirit this month, you should want to get up and do an Irish jib to these lively sounds! With a day full of activities, families will be entertained by musical performances, Irish food, crafts for the kids, Celtic warrior face-painting, storytelling, and dance demonstrations. Top this festive celebration off with a spirited performance by the Irish-American band Knot Fibb’n that night. This Columbus-based, high-energy ensemble features innovative and modern arrangements of traditional Celtic dance tunes, airs, and songs. You’ll feel like you just stepped into the land of green grass and clovers during this event!

Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day definitely calls for dining on traditional Irish food and beverages! An Irish Pub, short for “public house,” is the heart of the Irish social community.
