BCVB Passport Program


This week is National Tourism Week!! Celebrate this event and be entered to win a GRAND PRIZE by completing the Butler County Visitors Bureau Passport Program. The Passport Program is a tool designed to encourage and Butler County residents to get out and explore their community and see all the great attractions the county has to offer!

You can pick up a copy of the Passport at the BCVB office or any of the participating locations. You have to take your passport and visit 4 out of the 5 Butler County communities; Fairfield, Hamilton, Middletown, Oxford, and West Chester. When you arrive you will then have your passport “stamped” with that community’s colorized sticker. You must receive 2 stickers from each community and you must have 8 stickers total.

All completed passports must be submitted to the BCVB office (by mail or in person) no later than 5 p.m. on June 22. Complete passport participants will then be entered in a GRAND PRIZE drawing, with the winner to be announced June 24. Only one passport per household and you must be 18 years old to participate.

Come out and see The Academy of Dance Arts perform their Spring Dance Concert at the Dave Finkelman Auditorium at Miami University Middletown. The production, "Keep on...Dancing" will feature the story ballet "Coppelia" and include tap, jazz, modern, and character dances.

A Hands-on Cooking Class with Carol Tabone


Enjoy a hands-on cooking class with Carol Tabone at Jungle Jim's International Market. Tabone will teach guests techniques for holding, sharpening and using a standard chef's knife. The menu will include french onion soup with gruyere croutons, marinated cucumber dill salad, chicken moutarde, sauteed chicken breast with a mustard cream sauce, mashed potatoes, and saute of julienne vegetables.


*Please bring the following to the class:
One 8-inch or 10-inch chef's knife
A paring knife
A cutting board
