Arbor Day at Pyramid Hill


Pyramid Hill is inviting local schools and the public to attend a celebration of spring and environmental awareness. Each school will watch and participate in planting a new tree. Mayor Don Ryan will give a short speech about Arbor Day and the importance of environmental protection, as well as presenting an Arbor Day Proclamation to Pyramid Hill concerning their care of the forests and various specialty trees in the surrounding park.

The week of April 18-25 is dedicated to the preservation and clean up of Middletown’s Parks. The scheduled events occur at various locations around the city. Today’s event is at Sunset Park, local landscapers and volunteers will revitalize the park’s landscape, including mulching of trees, shrubs, etc.
